Annual Rescue RoundUp
The annual rescue roundup is a great chance for furbabies and their parents to get together and have some fur-riously good fun! Come down to the park and pad around, visiting the variety of vendor stalls and take part in the activities that fill each year's roundup. While you're there, if you happen to fancy a new family member, check in with one of the region's shelter stands and arrange a meet and greet with some of the adoptable lads and lasses they have along for the festivities.
Some of the clinics available each year include low-cost spay/neutering, microchipping, and even some great obedience seminars! Education is the word of the day and every shelter will be promoting owner education and awareness.

Annual Pins for Paws Bowling Tournament
Every year folks get together at one of the local bowling venues to play a great tournament for their local Humane Society. Stop in and sponsor a bowler to support this great cause and help to provide great care and support for the homeless pooches of the area.Registration for the event is typically held at 3:30pm, but be sure to check the newest event flyer for full details if you wish to bowl. It's always a great idea to get out there and do something for the animals in the community. Why not have some fun with other concerned folks while you're at it?
Don't forget to grab some food and take part in the mini-events that take place, too! There is usually a silent auction, buffet for a fee, and raffle prizes galore. All of the proceeds go to support the Humane Society and donations are always welcomed as well!
